How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve our color blindness tests
- Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience

- Reply to feedback and support requests you send us
Your Test Results
Your test results are never sent to us. Every test on this site runs entirely in your browser, and your answers and score exist only in the page while you have it open. We do not store, transmit, or log your results, and closing or reloading the page discards them. If you want to keep a result, take a screenshot.
Images You Upload
The color blindness simulator lets you load your own photo. That image is processed entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript — it is never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to any server, including ours. Nothing about the image persists after you close the page.
Children's Privacy
This site is a general-audience educational tool. One page, the Kids Color Blind Test, is written to be used by a child with a parent or guardian present. That test behaves like every other test here: it stores nothing and transmits nothing, so no information about the child reaches us.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not ask any visitor for a name, age, or date of birth. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the feedback form, email us at privacy@colorblindtests.net and we will delete it.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics
- Vercel for website hosting and analytics
- Ahrefs Analytics for anonymous traffic measurement
- Google AdSense for serving advertisements
- Neon (managed PostgreSQL) to store feedback messages you choose to send us
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our website. Google AdSense uses cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We do not show a cookie consent banner. Advertising, analytics, and hosting scripts load when you open a page, so the opt-out links above are the way to limit personalized advertising on this site.
Your Data Rights
Because the tests store nothing and uploaded images never leave your browser, we usually hold no personal data about you at all. The one exception is a feedback message you chose to send us.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or a jurisdiction with comparable rules (including California), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any feedback message you sent, and you may object to its processing. Email privacy@colorblindtests.net and we will act on it. Since we cannot identify you from analytics data, a deletion request can only cover feedback you sent us.
